Last night Jenny and I staked out a spot at the local Sushiland. They have cheap, fresh, delicious plates of California rolls and calamari on a conveyer belt of seafood delights.
As much as like seafood, I've never acquired the taste for sushi. I guess it's because I've grown up in the South, where everything, including Twinkies and Snickers Bars (don't ask), is fried.
Maybe I haven't eaten any decent sushi, though those places do exist in the Houston area.
And then, I think, maybe it's a texture issue. My palate doesn't like me sometimes.

Aw, Jenny.
That sounds great, and Sushiland is not bad for cheap sushi.
