Altitude.

I heard the wind and rain pounding against my window last night. It was the kind of storm that keeps you at the surface of sleep and builds itself into brief dreams.

----------

Six of seven are in the air today. Disa, Dan, Eric, Karin, Mike, and Laura will land in Uganda on November 2nd. I'll be leaving to join them this coming Saturday.

----------

Are you dressing up tonight? What's your costume?

I am invited to a costume party tonight but seeing as I didn't bring a costume to college, I will have to be creative. :)Yay for holidays where candy is freely distributed!

HA HA Beffyboo! Way to go on being unhealthy and proud of it.:) JR is a gas attendant today and I am a farm girl. These were the easiest costumes we could think of that were already in our closet. We get to be with little children at church tonight and give them candy. WHEEE!

Free candy, whew. My neighborhood was absolutely swarming with kids last night. I think we must be a "Halloween Neighborhood" if that means anything. People apparently drive to our little network of streets from all over the city. I wasn't home the whole evening, and it is a good thing. I would have been out of candy after 20 minutes.

Tiff- I did dress up. My favorite costume was when I was Tinkerbell- complete with the plastic mask that got all sweaty. That was a good year.

And Sparkley Girl? That sounds awesome.

I went as Johnny Cash, which was apropos since I opened up a local rock show doing 3 Johnny Cash covers and a Marvin Gaye cover. Last year, I dressed up as Lloyd Dobbler from "Say Anything" and the year before that, I went at Rob Gordon from "High Fidelity".
