The rains have come.

We woke up to a true Oregon day. Gray skies spit raindrops and filtered the soft morning light. It feels cozy. It feels like home.

Speaking of art (which your post definitely is (I know it when I see it)), there's a thing happening at the Jupiter Hotel this weekend where they put a bunch of art in a bunch of the rooms. It costs five dollars, and starts at noon. I wanna go, d'ya?

And I love the rain, and scarves, but not the holes in my shoes that let in puddles.

Nice pictures Erin!... praise God for soaking rain...Mmmm. I think it should be a law to have people walk out in it for an hour, get wet, and then get all cozy inside afterwards... maybe you can pass a law on that someday:)

Do you use umbrellas, Erin?

and you know... that rhod. bush looks really familiar...:)

Dot- Yes, I want to go. Count me in.

Tiff- I did get soaked! I use umbrellas when I won't have time to dry off, but I like to brave the rain. And I am sure that you have seen the bush- it only covers half of my house in the front...
